PRACTITIONERS
The Noble Centre offers both practical, pragmatic and creative therapeutic techniques. Denise Borland PhD The Noble Centre’s psychotherapist/counsellor specialises in psychological and physical trauma, including communication difficulties, Post Traumatic Stress, all things body orientated, including breathing and complex vocal and confidence issues. Denise set up the Noble Centre in 2005 with a vision of bringing practical, pragmatic support to those experiencing psychological and physical trauma and those finding life problematic. With a PhD in the Psychology of Vocal Performance, Dr Borland brings a wealth of experience of communication and voice issues. As well as her Transactional Analysis counselling Diploma and Somatic Trauma Therapy training (PTSD) - which is ongoing with supervisor Babette Rothschild, she is also a Transformational Breath graduate working to complete facilitator status and an Msc in TA Psychotherapy. She is completing her accreditation towards being a UKCP registered psychotherapist and abides by the code of ethics as a practitioner, with regular supervision. 45 Albert Street has been in the Borland family for over 80 years. She teaches all levels of singer and is particularly interested in developing strong technical finesse. She is assistant to Denise in Singer’s Psyche (psychological approach to voice) workshops and literature preparation based on Dr Borland’s research and is passionate about working with psychological understanding which has led to a clear level of communication with students. Massage therapist (IHM, EFM, JHM, TFM) Ali is also a qualified massage therapist specialising in a holistic style, including Indian head massage, eastern facial massage, Foot massage and Japanese hand massage. Linda is qualified in both Swedish massage and Thai foot massage and is a member of the SMTO. Linda studied through the Scottish Massage Schools and combines her techniques from Swedish, Thai and Aromatherapy to ensure every massage is tailored to meet your exact need. Linda uses fragranced oils and waxes to further enhance your treatment. Linda is also a Clinical Aromatherapist. Clinical Aromatherapy has many applications that can also be used to compliment other therapists' treatments. Products that clients can take home include roomsprays and burners. Linda offers:

Jane Jamieson is a nutritional lecturer, nutritional therapist and face-lift massage therapist with 13 years experience in the field of complementary medicine. Combining nutritional therapy with face-lift massage works on your beauty from the inside and out and is an especially powerful combination giving great results over a period of several months, allowing the body to heal and rejuvenate itself. Not only will you look fantastic, but you will feel great, as the combined therapy boosts your energy, detoxifies the body and reduces stress. Jane brings all her knowledge of healing the body into her work. She has a BSc. Physiology and a PhD. Biophysics which has given her a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology and the workings of biological systems. Jane's interests are varied with a common theme; finding ways to support the body to heal itself. This has led to an ongoing study of bodywork, nutrition, exercise, relaxation and mind/body techniques.

Susan Robertson
Susan trained with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis, qualifying in 2001 and has continued her professional development with supplementary training since then. She has further been a tutor with the College, supervising and training students. The LCCH is recognised as efficient by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education for the provision of training courses in Clinical Hypnosis. With reference to treatments received, public and private liabilities remain the sole responsibility of individual therapists. |
